JUST TAKES ONE LISTEN

All it takes is one listen.
One listen to realize that Marre, the 20 year-old pop/rock phenomenon from Colombia is something different. A virtually untapped well of natural talent, light years ahead of her age, she stands apart from any of the young Latin American artists that surround her.
With striking looks and an extraordinary voice, she delivers deep lyrics with catchy, uplifting melodies, captivating audiences everywhere. Loved by her fans, critics and her peers – including GRAMMY winner Juanes and The Jonas Brothersamong many others, Marre is destined to be a major force in music for many years to come.
The seemingly unstoppable wave of excitement that has lifted Marre from relative obscurity to becoming a rising superstar in just over two years has been no accident.
Writing songs before most of us started playing with toys, Marre showed from an early age a special interest and ability in music of all genres, from classical to contemporary and everything in between. But it was pop and rock that ignited her passion.
She was performing to her Barbie collection in her living room and writing tunes about fruits and vegetables before even reaching grade school.  It was during her teen years, however, that this singer/songwriter learned to channel her emotions of love, despair and hope into uniquely mature songs, distinguishing herself from any other writers her age.
Since then, she has written hundreds of songs. Her lyrics deal with the universal challenges that we all face: love, heartache and the struggle to grow from within.
Marre’s self titled debut album, is an intimate look into the mind of a budding renaissance young woman. With production from Andres Munera, who has worked with artists like Diego Torres, David Bisbal and Carlos Santana, the album showcases a gifted artist ready to break new barriers.
Her first single, Que Paso, a fun and youthfully exuberant song, opened the door for Mas y Mas , which deals with the liberating experience of breaking free from a poisonous relationship. Her third single Cada Vez has been her highest charting single, reaching the Top 10 lists in most major Latin American markets.
For Marre, her family and faith are cornerstones of her life. Her faith is clear in the message of every one of her songs. And her commitment to family extends even to her band. Her younger sister, Ali, who has been a part of Marre’s musical life from the very beginning, is the guitar player. With Marre, her career is truly a family affair.
For Marre, this is only the beginning. She knows no limits. With a new album in the works and a non-stop touring and promotion schedule ahead of her, she is poised to explode in the arenas of music and entertainment.
To understand what the world is discovering,
All it takes is one listen.
